Why the hell would a college whose entire admissions process is online provide you with your login information to their system using snail mail?!?!?! Seriously, I’ve been hunting through my email for like an hour now searching for my damn login Id # of random garbage text and it is nowhere to be found. The only place I know I have it is on a single piece of paper I received in the mail months ago and god knows where that is by now…
Come on people, it’s 2009.. we have email, we have the ability to neatly file everything and search it at will and take it with you in your pocket… yet we still continue to use a flammable bit of paper which is prone to blowing away in the wind and giving paper cuts as a medium to provide important information? I’m all for the occasional letter (notice how these have died out?) but come on….
On a side note, notice how we call junk mail junk mail but when it’s in email form it’s called spam? Is it not one in the same?
